This class is designed for students from Art Today 2/3 in 2017. As well as looking at current art events in New Zealand and around the world, we will consider topics such as:
- Time/Space in art: then, now (and how)
- The body as subject
- Minimalism: the minimalism movement and other minimal art
- Painting: Some NZ painters today and yesterday. Where has painting been and where is it going? What does beautiful mean?
